Barnstable Vessel Safety Checks Scheduled For This Week
The vessel safety checks are scheduled for three locations across Barnstable on Friday. Here's when and where.

On Friday, June 28, 2024 the Town of Barnstable Harbormaster Division and United States Coast Guard Auxiliary (Flotilla Cape Cod Canal) will be doing vessel safety checks at various locations throughout the Town of Barnstable including town owned marina’s and town boat ramps.

Gateway Marina, Hyannis
- 12:30pm to 1:45pm
Prince Cove Marina, Marstons Mills

- 2:00pm to 3:15pm
Barnstable Harbor, Barnstable
- 4:00pm to 5:00pm
These vessel safety inspections will be done to promote public safety on the water.
Harbormaster staff Jim Hurley, Waterways Safety Officer, and Thomas Broderick, Public Relations Officer for Flotilla Cape Cod Canal Coast Guard Auxiliary, will be conducting the courtesy inspections.
