Barnstable Veterans Day Parade: 2019 Info

Barnstable's Veterans Day parade will start at the town hall and conclude at the Hyannis Village Green.

BARNSTABLE, MA — Town officials have scheduled the Veterans Day parade for 10 a.m. Monday beginning at the town hall. The parade concludes at the Hyannis Village Green for the annual Barnstable soldiers Veterans Day program.

This year's keynote speaker is retired Colenel Scott Romberger. Romberger and his family recently re-located to Cape Cod following his 23-year career in the U.S. Air Force.

Romberger began his military career as a program manager launching national security satellites from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Since then, he’s held several positions in various locations around the world in intelligence, international affairs, and joint operations, including serving as a national security policy adviser and a U.S. negotiator to several foreign countries.

Following the parade, the town will host its third annual "Veterans' Town Hall" in the second floor hearing room at the town hall. The event will feature 10-minute testimonials from combabt veterans telling the community what it was like to go to war.
