Barnstable High School Teacher Murdered By Husband: DA

Christoper Fratantonio, of Cotuit, was arrested Tuesday and charged with murdering Mary Fratantonio, his wife.

BARNSTABLE, MA — A Barnstable man was arrested Tuesday morning on charges he murdered his wife. Christoper Fratantonio, 36, killed Mary Fratantonio, 35, at their Trout Brook Road home, according to Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O'Keefe.

Barnstable police responded to the Fratantonio residence at 89 Trout Brook Road after receiving multiple 911 calls from "various parties regarding a "violent crime," O'Keefe said. Officer found his wife dead and arrested him on the property.

Fratantonio pleaded not guilty in Barnstable District Court Tuesday afternoon. Prosecutors said he stabbed his wife to death, according to FOX 25.

Mary Fratantonio was a special education teacher at Barnstable High School.
