Missing Cape Cod Man Found Dead At Coast Guard Station
The body of Matthew Amsler was found in a boat at Coast Guard Station Chatham Monday. He had been missing since October.
CHATHAM, MA — A missing Cape Cod man was found dead in a boat at Coast Guard Station Chatham. Matthew Amsler, 24, had been missing since October. No foul play was suspected, police said.

The grisly discovery was made Sunday night. The body was found in a closed compartment of a boat on display, officials said. State Police are also investigating the case.

Friends are raising money for Amsler's funeral.
"We are thankful he was not in any pain, and we ask you continue to pray," a family representative said in a statement.
