Body Found In Woods On Cape Cod

YARMOUTH, MA – A man's body was found in the woods in Yarmouth Wednesday, police said. A hunter found the body shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Willow Street near the Barnstable Airport.

Police believe the man, who was identified as a 56 years old and from the Cape Cod area, was homeless. His "badly decomposed" body was found in a tent at a makeshift campsite, according to police.

The body may have been there for as long as a year, police said.
