Cape Cod Maritime Museum

Join Bob Zaremba, owner of Maps of Antiquity in Chatham, for an illustrated journey through the early nautical charts of Cape Cod and the Northeast. Housed in a historic late-1700s Chatham farmhouse, Maps of Antiquity offers over 15,000 antique maps, charts, and prints, spanning early American maps, hand-colored 19th-century state and country maps, historical prints, and more. In this talk, Bob will showcase rare and fascinating charts that guided mariners along Cape Cod and the Northeast, explore their history, and share insights from his decades of expertise in antique maps, restoration, and conservation. Navigate the history of nautical charts of Cape Cod from Samuel de Champlain to our own local chart makers George Eldridge and his son George W. Eldridge, of Chatham. Learn about the development of American chart making from after the revolution to the 20th Century. This is a must-see for anyone interested in maritime history, navigation, or the story of early American chart making!

The Barnstable Comedy Club proudly presents THE COTTAGE, a comedy by Sandy Rustin. The show opens on Thursday, May 7 and continues for 3 weekends through May 24 on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 PM with Sunday matinee performances at 2:30PM. Set in an English country cottage, a woman decides to expose her latest affair to both her husband—and her lover's wife. As secrets unravel and passions collide, the meaning of love, identity, and marriage are all thrown into question, and served in a way only the British can serve it: with tea. With shocking plot twists, scandalous reveals, and razor-sharp humor, THE COTTAGE is a deliciously funny hit comedy where no one’s secrets are safe.

Join us for a fun-filled day on the water at the Annual Rowing Rendezvous at Kalmus Beach! 🕙 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM 📍 Hyannis
Come celebrate traditional rowing on Cape Cod with boats on the beach, rowing demonstrations, and hands-on opportunities to try a variety of New England–style traditional small boats. Members of the Cape Cod Traditional Small Craft Association will be bringing their own boats—many of them built by the rowers themselves—and making them available for short rows.
🛶 New to rowing? No problem! Assistance will be available for beginners. You will get your feet wet, so plan accordingly.

To honor Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the Boston Eastern Heritage Chorus, Waquoit Congregational Church choir, and the John Wesley United Methodist Church choir unite again for the third year in a row to present “Bridge to Harmony 2026”. This chorale concert features popular American, Italian, and Chinese folk art songs. The Boston Eastern Heritage Chorus, a popular Newton-based Chinese-American chorus since 2000, has won awards in international competitions including the World Choir Games in China, the World Choral Competition in Montreal, and the World Chorus Festival for Adults and Seniors in Vienna.
