The Federated Church of Hyannis

One of the most important ensembles of our time, the award-winning Borromeo String Quartet has been hailed for its “edge-of-the-seat performances” by The Boston Globe, which called it “simply the best.” A fan favorite and pillar of the Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival for many years, the Borromeo is admired and sought after for both its fresh interpretations of the classical music canon and its championing of works by 20th and 21st century composers. The Chicago Tribune praised the Borromeo as “a remarkably accomplished string quartet, not simply for its high technical polish and refined tone, but more importantly for the searching musical insights it brings.” The San Diego Reader described the ensemble’s performance as “a musical experience of luminous beauty.”
Performances in Hyannis and Wellfleet will feature Ludwig van Beethoven’s String Quartet in F Major, Op. 59, No. 1 and Antonín Dvořák’s String Quartet No. 14 in A-flat Major.

Brings Love, Hope, and Faith to Hyannis Arts Hall Stage 

Hyannis Arts Hall and Back Porch Theater present the N. Richard Nash play The Rainmaker,
a tale of love, hope, and faith in ourselves and each other, from Thursday, August 6 through Sunday, August 9. A surprise hit of the 2025 summer season for the Sandwich Arts Alliance, The Rainmaker brings a unique blend of humor and insight into the human heart to Hyannis Arts Hall, an emerging hub for music, theater, and film in the historic East End of Hyannis, behind the Federated Church of Hyannis, at 81 Willow Avenue 
“A tale of love, a tale of hope, a tale of faith - in ourselves and in each other. At a time of paralyzing drought in the West, where ‘the only thing we have to fear is fear itself,’ we discover Lizzie, a girl whose father and two brothers are worried as much about her becoming an old maid as they are about their dying cattle — when out of nowhere appears an unexpected visitor. Honey-tongued and grandiose, he promises rain. For $100. And the rain comes. And so does love.”
Massachusetts and Cape Cod actorsNeil McGarry and Miranda Jonte return in this American classic. The two will also codirect the production. Funny honest, and sincere, The Rainmakeris a quintessential piece of Americana, and a timeless romance.

Hyannis Arts Hall presents New England talk radio legend and New York Times best-selling author Howie Carr, on stage Sunday, August 16 from 4 to 5:30 pm. Carr, host of the largest syndicated talk radio show in New England, will bring his unmistakable blend of outspoken passion and confrontational conservative politics to the Hyannis Arts Hall. The hall continues as an emerging hub for music, theater and film in the Historic East End of Hyannis, located at 81 Willow Avenue, across from the former Plymouth &amp; Brockton bus terminal.

In 2015, Howie Carr launched The Howie Carr Radio Network, the first host-owned radio network in New England.
