Ballet at Cotuit: Intermediate Ballet and Pointe

This class is for the dancer who is ready for more advanced barre work, stretch and center combinations requiring increased strength, flexibility, cardio stamina and balance.  The class contains various ballet turns, center adagio work, followed by petit allegro for footwork, and some grand allegro to finish.   Port de bras integration is used throughout the class.  Pointe will be taught the last 30 minutes of the class.  Those students who have instructor approval will dance in pointe, but all in the class are encouraged to stay and do the pointe work in ballet slippers.  Come dance and be encouraged by a professional dancer/instructor with many years of helping dancers realize their dance goals.
