Curious about the history and value of a treasured item? Bring it to our event where one of Eldred’sexperienced appraisers will provide informal verbal evaluations of antiques, collectibles or other unique items. NO JEWELRY PLEASE!
Appointments are typically 5 minutes per item and limited to three items per person.
$10 Per Item
APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED
No walk-in will be accepted!

If you have never had the opportunity to take a ballet class but always wanted to, or, if you studied ballet as a child but stopped dancing, this class is for you.&nbsp; Study ballet for the very first time or return to it in a class that is geared to adults, including the mature adult.&nbsp; The class emphasizes balance, strength, posture, flexibility, and more with lovely arm movements and steps set to the best of ballet music.&nbsp; Names of positions, port de bras, steps, and proper alignment are taught.&nbsp; Come relax, gain confidence, and move again.&nbsp; The class is taught by an encouraging professional ballet dancer/instructor who is also a certified AFAA Fitness Instructor with a background in years of dance fitness.&nbsp;6 Mondays, 10 - 11am

Come and learn to tap dance or brush up your steps with a lively instructor that will get you tapping the first lesson. Learn basic tap steps and techniques to all your favorite Broadway, blues, Fred Astaire tunes and more. The class has a warmup and a continual movement format that will give you a great workout. You will learn an entire routine and have fun at the same time. No prerequisites. Just bring water and a smile. You can wear hard soled shoes or tap shoes.

Cape Cod Chorale Invites Singers to Join “Northern Lights” Season
BARNSTABLE, MA — September 2026 — Cape Cod Chorale invites singers from across Cape Cod to join its 2026–27 season, beginning with two open rehearsals on Monday, September 14 and Monday, September 21, from 7–9 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 3055 Main St., Barnstable.
Prospective members are welcome to attend either or both open rehearsals with no commitment. Cape Cod Chorale does not hold auditions, although singers may require a brief vocal placement to help determine the most comfortable section.
This season’s December concerts, “Northern Lights,”
will take audiences on a musical journey inspired by the beauty of northern skies and landscapes—think Frozen—as well as themes of peace, hope, and the holiday season. Performances will be held Saturday and Sunday, December 12 and 13, at 4 p.m.
The program will include music in English, Swedish, Norwegian, and German, although nearly all of the concert will be in English. Rehearsal tracks are provided to help singers learn their music, and members who speak Norwegian and German are available to lend a hand with pronunciation and language questions.
The concerts will also feature audience participation, including a carol sing-along and a surprise “Pop-Up “Hallelujah” Chorus from Handel’s Messiah, when audience members will be invited to join the chorus in singing.
While singers do need to be able to match pitch and learn a musical part, the chorus provides substantial support for learning music and developing healthy vocal technique. Members describe the group as friendly and welcoming, with plenty of help available for singers of all levels of experience.
Cape Cod Chorale is especially interested in welcoming basses and tenors, although singers of all voice parts are encouraged to attend.
