Casting Call for A DELICATE BALANCE

Director James F. Ring will hold open auditions on October 9 from 6 PM to 9 PM and also on October 10 and 11 from 2 PM to 4:30 PM at the Barnstable Comedy Club located at 3171 Main Street in Barnstable for Edward Albee's play, A DELICATE BALANCE.

   Casting is available for 2 men and 4 women.  Actors will be asked to read from the script.  A perusal copy of the script is at the Sturgis Library.  More details and character descriptions may be viewed online at https://barnstablecomedyclub.org/auditions/.

    In Edward Albee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, the carefully maintained equilibrium of a well-to-do household is shattered when family tensions and unexpected guests converge over one unsettling weekend. Beneath a veneer of civility, old wounds and buried resentments surface, forcing everyone to confront the fragile boundaries of love, friendship, obligation and fear.
