Let's make some spooky ghosts out of molten glass! During this class, students will learn how to control the shape of the glass to make a cute little ghost body. Then students will get to add little black dots to make their spooky faces!
Safety &amp; What to Expect This class is held at our HyArts Campus Flamework Studio. Classes are limited to 5 participants. All participants must wear 100% cotton or linen clothing (no synthetic fabrics), along with closed-toe shoes. Long hair must be tied back securely before class. Protective eyewear will be provided to help you safely view the flame and glowing glass during the workshop. All pieces created during class must cool slowly in a kiln overnight to ensure durability and prevent cracking. This class is for the dancer who wants a bit more of a challenge and has taken the Beginning Ballet Basics class or who has studied ballet before. The class incorporates a barre, stretch and center floor work that requires more balance and core strength, but is doable for any age. Learn new steps, ballet vocabulary, port de bras and positions set to beautiful music that will encourage the inner dancer in you. The class is taught by a ballet dancer/instructor with years of professional dancing and teaching experience. Bring water and wear dance clothing (dance skirts are allowed) and ballet slippers.

Explore the art of transfer decoration in this creative porcelain workshop. Guests will work on a porcelain surface, selecting from a variety of transfer designs to build their own unique composition. You’ll experiment with placement and layering as you arrange the imagery to create a personalized piece.
Once your design is complete, the piece will be kiln-fired to permanently fuse the transfers to the porcelain surface, resulting in a finished piece that is both decorative and functional.
No prior experience is needed—just come ready to experiment and design. Please note that pieces must be picked up approximately two weeks after the class to allow time for kiln firing.
This is the class registration fee which includes the instruction and transfer supplies. Have you taken a Beginner tap class and are ready for more? Or, have you tapped before and need a review? This class will give you a little more in review and learning additional steps in a format that will take them apart and let you learn step by step. An enthusiastic instructor will tap right with you. Learn another fun routine.
The class has a warmup and a step by step format that explains each step with lots of review. Come have fun and a great workout.

If you have never had the opportunity to take a ballet class but always wanted to, or, if you studied ballet as a child but stopped dancing, this class is for you. Study ballet for the very first time or return to it in a class that is geared to adults, including the mature adult. The class emphasizes balance, strength, posture, flexibility, and more with lovely arm movements and steps set to the best of ballet music. Names of positions, port de bras, steps, and proper alignment are taught. Come relax, gain confidence, and move again. The class is taught by an encouraging professional ballet dancer/instructor who is also a certified AFAA Fitness Instructor with a background in years of dance fitness. Bring water and wear workout clothes or ballet
