YARMOUTH, MA — Two men have been arrested for armed robbery on Cape Cod, while local police are still searching for two additional people involved in the altercation.
Yarmouth Police responded to the area of Swan Pond Village around midnight on Sunday after receiving a 911 call reporting that an older man was being beaten. Initial reports indicated the man had been beaten by people driving in a tan SUV, officials said.
The SUV was seen exiting Alewife Circle and an officer stopped it, finding out that the people inside were actually the victims of the assault, police said.
