WELLFLEET, MA — A Cape Cod man crashed his truck into a telephone pole early Tuesday morning. He was uninjured, but now arguably faces bigger problems.

Wellfleet police and fire officials responded to Long Pond Road around 5:20 a.m. on Tuessday for the reported crash.

They found a Chevrolet pickup truck that was off the side of the road after striking a telephone pole. The pole was snapped in half and had caused utility wires to stretch across the road, officials said.
