Cape Cod Electrical Fire Causes Major Damage To Home
Multiple agencies were called to Chatham on Tuesday for a fire that caused major damage to a home, but no one was injured.
CHATHAM, MA — An electrical fire caused extensive damage to a home on Cape Cod, but no one was injured.
On Tuesday around 4 p.m., Chatham Fire Department officials received a call from a neighbor of 82 Point Dr. reporting a fire.
When personnel arrived they found a heavy fire showing from the roof of the single-story home.

A car was in the driveway, but no one was in the home when fire personnel arrived, officials said.
Officials believe the cause of the fire was electrical, and it required multiple agencies from across Cape Cod to help, with officials remaining on the scene until about 7:30 p.m.
