Cape Cod Fentanyl Trafficking Investigation Ends With Charges
Over 50 grams of Fentanyl and 20 grams of Xanax were seized during a search of a Hyannis home this week. Two men were charged.
BARNSTABLE, MA — A month's long Cape Cod drug investigation ended this week with an executed search warrant and multiple arrests in Hyannis.
The Dennis Police Department with aid from multiple local agencies executed a search warrant at 154 Lafrance Ave. in Hyannis on Monday.
A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of approximately 55 grams of fentanyl and 21 grams of Xanax bars, Dennis police said.

Just prior to the execution of the search warrant, Barnstable police detectives observed one of the residents, Robert “Bookie” Perry Jr., conduct a hand-to-hand deal outside the residence, police said.
Barnstable detectives encountered Perry and a woman and recovered an additional 18 grams of fentanyl, officials said.

At the scene, Barnstable officials arrested Danielle Litchman while Detectives from the Dennis Police Department arrested Perry Jr. and Stephen Sweeney.
Sweeney and Perry Jr. were charged with the following offenses:
- Trafficking Fentanyl 36-100 grams
- Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law
- Distribution of a Class E Drug
Perry Jr. will also be summoned to court by the Barnstable Police Department for an additional charge of Trafficking Fentanyl.
Perry Jr. and Sweeney were held without bail at the Dennis Police Department overnight and brought to court for arraignment on May 2.
