Cape Cod Heroin Dealer Caught After Chase: Police
A convicted Cape Cod heroin dealer "cried uncontrollably" after he was caught, police said.
YARMOUTH, MA — A heroin dealer was arrested after a police chase in Yarmouth Friday, authorities said. Corey Rathburn, 30, of Brewster, faces a host of charges.
On Friday at about 7 p.m., police said officers noticed Rathburn acting suspicious at a motel and approached him — at which point Rathburn took off and ran into traffic on Route 28. Rathburn then tripped, allowing officers to catch up to him, police said. Rathburn fought officers and was tased, police said.
"While being transported the suspect was crying uncontrollably and stated he was sorry," police said in a statement. "He told the officers he was only going to sell drugs for a year until he could save up some money and that he just got out of jail after serving two years for selling drugs."
