15-Year-Old Charged In Cape Cod Mall Stabbing
The 17-year-old stabbing victim is expected to make a full recovery, according to an update from Barnstable police.

HYANNIS, MA — A 15-year-old is charged in the stabbing of a 17-year-old at Cape Cod Mall, Barnstable police announced.
He is being held on a $5,000 bail pending arraignment in Barnstable Juvenile Court.

On Monday, a 17-year-old was flown to a Rhode Island hospital after a stabbing at Cape Cod Mall in Hyannis.
Barnstable police responded to the mall at 4 p.m. on Monday, finding a 17-year-old with multiple stab wounds to his torso.

The Hyannis Fire Department transported the victim to an awaiting MedFlight helicopter at the Barnstable Municipal Airport. The MedFlight helicopter transported him to Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence Rhode Island for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
A Tuesday update said the 17-year-old is expected to make a full recovery.
Police said the stabbing was the result of an argument between the victim and a suspect and wasn't a random act.
The investigation remains active and ongoing, police said.
