Cape Cod Man Drove Onto Beach, Injuring 4 Children: PD
The 82-year-old was cited after crashing onto a Florida beach, which he said he did not remember.

ORMOND BEACH, FL – A Cape Cod man was cited after driving through a barrier and onto a Florida beach, injuring four children. Police said the crash happened around 4 p.m. on March 20 in Ormond Beach.
A police official told News Daytona Beach 82-year-old William Johnson, of Yarmouth, lost control of his SUV, hit a pole and crashed through a fence onto the beach. The car struck four children, including one girl who was listed in serious condition.
All children are expected to be okay, according to the Volusia County Sheriff. Johnson told officers he did not remember what happened, and police are investigating the crash as medically related, News Daytona Beach reported.

He was cited for careless driving.
