Cape Cod Man, Friend Stab Each Other In Fight About Women: Report

BARNSTABLE, MA — A Cape Cod man is jailed in Florida after he and a friend stabbed each other during a fight about the attention they received from women.

Olajuwon Dickerson, 32, of Marstons Mills, faces a felony charge in Miami Beach of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing bodily harm, according to a Florida news report.

Dickerson was visiting the area to attend a bachelor party and on Sunday was celebrating at a bar with the other man. They began arguing when that man, who wasn’t identified, grew upset that women were noticing Dickerson.

Dickerson stabbed the other man in the stomach and the victim stabbed him back in self-defense, according to the report.

Both men were expected to recover. Dickerson was arraigned earlier this week and was being held without bond. Police released his companion.
