Cape Cod Man Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries In Rt. 6A Crash
The 34-year-old was flown to the hospital after crashing head-on into a tree Wednesday night.

DENNIS, MA — A 34-year-old man was flown to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash on Route 6A Wednesday night. Emergency crews responded to the entrance to the Cranberry Knoll Condominiums in Dennis and found a Chevrolet Camaro that had crashed head-on into a tree, the Dennis Fire Department said.
The driver was pinned inside the car, and paramedics began treating him while firefighters cut the car open, according to the fire department. He was removed using the Jaws of Life and airlifted to a Boston hospital.
The Cape Cod Times identified the driver as a Hyannis resident. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
