"The incident reportedly involved an illegal narcotics transaction within a vehicle in the driveway of that home and resulted in one individual showing a firearm before exiting the vehicle with a small amount of marijuana," Eastham police said in a statement. After police obtained a warrant for Agger's arrest, a SWAT team was called due to evidence of a gun. Agger was taken into custody and police said the weapon turned out to be a black semi-automatic pellet gun. Police said they also found marijuana that he allegedly stole from another individual during the drug deal.

"This was a prearranged encounter between all parties involved for an illegal drug transaction," police said. This crime was not a random act of violence and it is not believed that any residents in the area were ever in danger."

Agger and Lawton were held by Eastham police pending an arraignment Tuesday in Orleans District Court. Agger was charged with armed robbery and witness intimidation. Lawton was charged with armed robbery and assault.
