Cape Cod Marina Named 'Boaters' Choice' Award Winner

BUZZARDS BAY, MA — The Safe Harbor Onset Bay Marina has been named a 2019 Boaters' Choice Award winner by Marinas.com, the world's most extensive online marine directory. This is the second time the marina won the Elite Fleet award in the last three years.

According to Marinas.com, the award is given to marinas that went above and beyond to above and beyond for boaters in 2019. Winners need to maintain an average of at least a 4.8 out of 5 stars on the site to be considered for the award. Safe Harbor was among the best in 2019 maintaining a 5-star rating with 62 reviews.

Other Massachusetts marinas were also included in the best-of list. The Elite Fleet list also included Safe Harbor in Plymouth, Boston Waterboat Marina, South Wharf in South Dartmouth, Menemsha Harbormaster, Charlestown Marina, the Town of Manchester by the Sea Marina, Parker's Boat Yard in Cataumet and Safe Harbor in Quincy.

Recreational boating had in economic impact in Massachusetts of $4.4 billion in 2018 according to the National Marine Manufacturers Association.
