Environment Theme Week - Beachology; geology and oceanography effects on shoals, shifting sands, and sea floor mapping
During the summer of 2014, Cape Cod Maritime Museum will be offering maritime science and art (“STEAM”) based classes for youth and adults. There are two week long themes throughout the summer. The classes can be taken as the week long seminar at $190, an individual class for $45 or the activity with each class at 10am for the cost of $15. The full class is offered from 9:30am—12:30pm and they are for ages 7 and older.
Knowing the sands under the water at sea, help scientist understand better what is happening in our oceans around the world. In this class we will be looking at what is happening at the bottom of the sea and create our own sea floor map.
