Boating Theme Week - The physics of Sailing Theory & Application; lift, drag, simple machines and apparent wind
During the summer of 2014, Cape Cod Maritime Museum will be offering maritime s<span class="_wysihtml5-temp-placeholder"></span>cience and art (“STEAM”) based classes for youth and adults. There are two week long themes throughout the summer. The classes can be taken as the week long seminar at $190, an individual class for $45 or the activity with each class at 10am for the cost of $15. The full class is offered from 9:30am—12:30pm and they are for ages 7 and older.
Did you ever want to know the science of sailing – how the winds push the sails, is there a better position to capture the wind, how fast can a boat actually go, then this class is for you.  Come by and learn all of this and more and immediately apply it with hands on activity.
