Cape Cod Police Ask Public's Help In Dollar General Theft

Police said the man pictured is wanted for a Dollar Store theft Monday. Contact Yarmouth police at 508-775-0445 with information.

YARMOUTH, MA — Police in Yarmouth are asking the public's help identifying a Dollar Store theft suspect. The theft happened Monday at the Long Pond Drive store, police said. The suspect, described as a "a heavy set white male with a mustache, khakis and orange shirt," stole an employee's phone, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact Yarmouth police at 508-775-0445.

The theft happened at about noon, according to police.

"(The employee) put her cell phone down while stocking shelves," police said in a statement. "Surveillance footage at the Dollar General shows (the suspect) pick up the phone, look through it, then leave the store with it in his possession.

The phone is a Samsung S7 in a blue wallet case. The case contained the female worker's driver's license, a Santander debit card and a Rockland Trust debit card.
