Cape Cod Police Find Body In Saquatucket Harbor

HARWICH, MA — A body was recovered from Saquatucket Harbor in Harwich Sunday morning, authorities said. The individual was identified as Peter Benya, 59, of New Jersey. Foul play is not suspected, authorities said.
On Sunday at about 11 a.m., Harwich police said they received a call at about 11 a.m. of a body floating in the harbor. The discovery was confirmed by first responders.
"The case remains under investigation by (state) and local police however, there is nothing at this time to suggest the cause of death was anything other than accidental," Cape & Islands Assistant District Attorney Tara Miltimore said in a statement.
