Cape Cod Road Reopens After SWAT Team Descends
A Barnstable road was closed for an investigation on Sunday. Details are sparse, but the road has since reopened.
HYANNIS, MA — A heavy police presence shut down Bristol Avenue in Hyannis on Sunday afternoon, but has since reopened.
The Barnstable Police Department shared around 11:30 a.m. that the road was shut down as officials worked "an active criminal investigation."
The Cape Cod Times confirmed with photos that the investigation brought SWAT team members to the area.
