Cape Cod Sex Offender 'Armed And Dangerous'
Cape Cod police said Kevin Cahoon is wanted in connection with the rape of an mentally disabled individual and several break-ins.
YARMOUTH, MA — An "armed and dangerous" Cape Cod sex offender is wanted by police. Kevin Cahoon, 53, is homeless and believed to be living in wooded areas or abandoned homes in the mid-Cape area, police said. He is wanted in connection with the rape of a mentally disabled individual and several break-ins in Yarmouth, police said.

"Cahoon is well-known to Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement and has a long violent record of criminal charges throughout Massachusetts," Yarmouth police said in a statement. "Cahoon had been incarcerated for over 20 years and Yarmouth Police have received information that he will try to obtain a firearm and shoot Police Officers when confronted as he does not want to go back to prison."
Cahoon is 5 feet, 9 inches and 200 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes and several tattoos.
