Cape Cod Woman Dies After Getting Pinned By SUV

Emergency crews arrived at her home to find her "gravely injured."

YARMOUTH, MA – A Cape Cod woman died after getting pinned by her SUV at her home Tuesday evening. Officers were called to Seminole Drive in Yarmouthport around 5:20 p.m. after her husband arrived home from work to find her pinned between the vehicle and their garage door, police said.

The victim, 52-year-old Deborah Read-Kochka, was "gravely injured" when emergency crews arrived, according to police. She was taken to Cape Cod Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

"The Yarmouth Police Department and Yarmouth Town Officials offer our deepest condolences to the Kochka Family," Yarmouth police said in a statement.
