Cape Cod Woman Left Baby In Car While She Went To Casino: Police
The 26-year-old allegedly left the baby in a running car for about an hour and a half.

YARMOUTH, MA – A Cape Cod woman was charged this week with leaving her 3-month-old baby in a running car while she went to a casino. Halston Borglund, 26, of South Yarmouth, was charged with cruelty or neglect of a child by police in Lincoln, RI.
According to the Cape Cod Times, security at Twin River Casino told a police officer that a child was alone in a parked car. The girl was found in an SUV, which had a window down and the engine running.
Borglund came out of the casino and claimed she had just run inside for a few minutes to get keys, but casino security said she had entered about an hour and a half earlier, the Times reported. The baby was taken into state care.
