Cape Cod's First Target Opening In Hyannis
The first Target on Cape Cod is slated to open its doors in less than two weeks.
HYANNIS, MA — The first Target on Cape Cod is slated to open its doors in less than two weeks. The retail chain's "small format"store is set to open Oct. 20. at the Cape Cod Mall at 769 Iyannough Road in Hyannis.
Small-format stores have been developed in urban areas, dense suburban neighborhoods and near college campuses — areas too small for a full-size Target. Despite its smaller size, the Hyannis location will still include a CVS Pharmacy and a Starbucks.
The store's hours will be 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.

The company said it plans to hire around 150 employees. Interested candidates can apply at Target.com/careers.
