Cape Cod's Marconi Beach Reopens After Stair Reconstruction

A brand new set of stairs is ready to welcome beachgoers to Marconi this summer.

CAPE COD, MA — Cape Cod beachgoers rejoice, another local haunt is open for the summer season.

Cape Cod National Seashore officials announced the reopening of Marconi Beach and the beach stairs as of Memorial Day weekend.

The stairs were closed for a full demolition and replacement project. Marconi's entrance road and parking area were also closed, but have reopened.

Daily fee collection at Marconi Beach will begin on June 21, officials said.

Additionally, Pilgrim Heights and Head of the Meadow repaving and restriping work has been completed.
