Cape Man Caught Trafficking Fentanyl, Breaks Cell Sprinkler: PD
A Cape Cod man charged with trafficking fentanyl ripped the fire suppression sprinkler system from the ceiling of his cell, police said.
SANDWICH, MA — A Sandwich man was arrested Wednesday after police said he was caught trafficking almost 30 grams of fentanyl. Gregory Losordo, 35, was charged with trafficking more than 10 grams of fentanyl, felony vandalism and resisting arrest
Police said Losordo was the subject of several-week-long investigation, and officers were granted warrant to search him and his home. Around 2:15 p.m., police saw Losord in a car near his home. Police said they stopped the vehicle, but Losordo was not cooperative and began fighting with officers.
During the struggle police said they saw plastic bags containing fentanyl fall from his pants onto the ground. Police said Losordo continued to fight as he was placed under arrest.

Once the search was completed, police said they found found 11 bags containing about 29 grams of fentanyl. Police said they also found paraphernalia related to drug distribution inside his home.
When Losordo was booked at the Sandwich Police Department, police said he ripped the fire suppression sprinkler system from the ceiling of his cell. An area in the station became flooded.

Losordo was arraigned in Barnstable District Court Thursday.
