Car Theft Fugitive Caught in Hyannis
Luis Melo, 25, of Taunton, had warrants out for his arrest, police said.
Police said they arrested a Taunton fugitive in Hyannis late Saturday night.
Luis Melo, 25, had two warrants—one for stealing a car and another for threatening.
Barnstable police said members of their Street Crime Unit arrested Melo during an encounter on Main Street in Hyannis at about 12:30 a.m.
