Centerville Man Charged With Heroin Trafficking
State police found over 100 grams of heroin after pulling the 37-year-old over early Thursday morning.

CENTERVILLE, MA – A Centerville man was arrested and charged with trafficking and other drug offenses after he was pulled over by state police early Thursday morning. A trooper stopped the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze shortly after 2 a.m. and arrested the driver, 37-year-old Nicholas Hubbard, after finding approximately 124 grams of heroin, 6 grams of cocaine and a half-pill of Xanax, according to a police statement.
Hubbard faces the following charges:
- Possess to distribute Class A drug (Heroin)
- Possess to distribute Class B drug (Cocaine)
- Possess Class C drug (Xanax)
- Trafficking in Heroin/Morphine/Opium
The Barnstable Police Department assisted in the traffic stop. Hubbard was cited for motor vehicle violations and held on $10,000 bail pending his arraignment Thursday morning in Barnstable District Court.
