Centerville Man Killed in Sandwich Crash

A 32-year-old Centerville man was killed in a two-car accident on Route 6 on Tuesday morning.

State Police responded at about 6:20 a.m. to the crash on Route 6 West near Exit 4 in Sandwich. Police said Michael Dalto, 45, of East Bridgewater, was traveling on Route 6 East when his pickup truck crossed the media and struck a car driven by Lawrence Barros, 32, of Centerville, said State Police.

Barros was pronounced dead at the scene. Dalto suffered minor injuries and was taken to Cape Cod Hospital, said State Police.

Route 6 West was closed for about three hours on Tuesday morning.

State Police are investigating the crash.
