Cocaine Bust Thanks to Barnstable Sheriff's K-9
A cocaine dealer was arrested after a Barnstable County Sheriff's K-9 hit on drugs, police said.

FALMOUTH, MA — Falmouth police on Tuesday charged a Dennis man with cocaine trafficking.

Myrton Powell, 41, was arrested and held on $5,000 bail.
Police said officers pulled over Powell’s vehicle on the East Falmouth Highway. The Barnstable County Sheriff’s K-9 unit detected narcotics, police said.

A search of the vehicle turned up 22 grams of cocaine wrapped in 44 individual bags and a small amount of marijuana, police said.
Powell was charged with cocaine trafficking, marijuana possession, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and a drug violation in a school zone.
