Cotuit's Cahoon Museum Seeks Consultant For Feasibility Study

COTUIT, MA – Cahoon Museum of American Art released a Request for Proposals (RFP) to seek qualified fundraising consultants to conduct a feasibility study in preparation for a capital campaign.

Following the Cahoon Museum’s acquisition of the historic Crocker homestead at 4698 Falmouth Road, adjacent to the museum, the museum is engaging in a strategic planning process and a fund development plan to support the best use of the combined properties. The purchase of the 1.0-acre property, complete with the original house, outbuildings, and a landscaped garden, will expand the museum’s mission of creating more meaningful and engaging art experiences for visitors.

This property purchase was an extraordinary opportunity to build upon the museum’s growing strengths as a regional arts organization deeply rooted in the special heritage of Cape Cod,” said Cahoon Museum Board President, Jessica Rapp Grassetti, “Our Board and staff are excited to soon begin engaging members, donors, and friends of the Cahoon Museum as part of the planning process for the next phase in the life of the museum.”
