Couple Charged With Rash Of Cape Cod Car Break-Ins
A man with nearly 100 priors and a woman will face charges for break-ins across several Cape communities.

YARMOUTH, MA – A New Bedford couple have been charged in a recent spate of car break-ins on Cape Cod. Derek DeJesus, 43, and Katrina Olden, 25, were caught in the middle of a break-in in Wellfleet, Yarmouth police said.
DeJesus, who has 93 priors on his record in Massachusetts, is being held on $15,000 cash bail. Olden is being held on $1,000 cash bail. Charges are still being compiled in Harwich, Sandwich, Wellfleet, Eastham and New Bedford.
They will face the following charges in Yarmouth, according to police:

- Breaking and entering nighttime for a felony (16 counts)
- Breaking and entering of a vehicle/boat nighttime for a felony (6 counts)
- Larceny under $1,200 (4 counts)
- Larceny of a drug (1 count)
