Cranberry, Seafood Trucks Crash on Cape Cod; Driver Sought
Bourne police said the driver caused a chain-reaction crash near the Sagamore Bridge.

Bourne police on Monday were still searching for a driver who caused a multi-vehicle crash on Route 6 Friday.

Police said the chain reaction crash happened when a vehicle cut off a pickup truck towing a trailer full of cranberries near the Sagamore Bridge at about 6:30 a.m. The truck swerved to get out of the way and collided with a seafood truck, police said.
The seafood truck driver, a 42-year-old man from Beverly, was seriously hurt. The cranberry truck driver, a 33-year-old from East Harwich, was not hurt.

Police said they are still looking for the vehicle that cut off the cranberry truck. They didn’t have a description of the vehicle but asked anyone with information to contact them at 508-759-4451.
