Drive-In Movies Coming To Dennis

DENNIS, MA — The comeback of drive-in movie theaters will continue on Cape Cod with the opening of a theater in Dennis.

The Cape Play House, Cape Cinema and Cape Cod Museum teamed up to open a 100-vehicle drive-in at the central parking lot of the Cape Cod Center for the arts. The showings began last Wednesday and will continue every Wednesday through Aug. 19.

Moviegoers are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy dinner and a movie by ordering take out at one of the surrounding restaurants. Eateries in the area include Encore Bistro, Scargo Cafe and the Pheasant.

To comply with social distancing, all tickets must be purchased online. Sanitizing stations will be available at all restrooms. If you leave your vehicle, wearing a mask is required.
