Driver Crashes Into Cape Cod Doctor's Office Waiting Room

No one was injured when the car was driven through an outer wall of Outer Cape Health in Wellfleet, police said.

WELLFLEET, MA — Police on Cape Cod are investigating after a 74-year-old woman crashed her sedan into a doctor's office waiting room on Wednesday.

Wellfleet police said they responded to a crash at Outer Cape Health, 3130 Route 6, at 9:53 a.m.

The vehicle was inside the building with only the rear-end exposed. Officers said the car was driven into the waiting room which was occupied by "numerous" people. However, no injuries were reported.

Assisting at the scene was the Eastham Fire Department, Lower Cape Ambulance, and the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Department. The Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council’s accident reconstruction team also assisted at the scene.
