Driver Injured In Cape Cod Route 6 Crash

A car ended up over a guardrail and off the road on Route 6. The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

HARWICH, MA — A car ran off of Route 6 and over an embankment in Harwich on Wednesday night, officials said.

Members of the Harwich and Dennis Fire Departments responded to Route 6 in North Harwich for a car off the road. A Dennis ambulance arrived on the scene first and reported a car over the embankment.

The driver was still in the vehicle, and officials needed the "jaws of life" to open the doors to the car.
