Driver Ran Over Cape Cod Turkeys: Police
Police in Wareham are asking help finding the driver of a truck who ran over a flock of turkeys Sunday on Great Neck Road.

WAREHAM, MA — Authorities in Wareham are asking the public's help identifying a driver who ran over a flock of turkeys Sunday. The incident happened on Great Neck Road Sunday at about 6 p.m. A passerby recorded a video of the incident.
"As seen in the video and described by the reporting party, a truck traveling in the opposite direction was observed speeding up as it approached the turkeys and intentionally drove over the birds that were still in the roadway," the Wareham Department of Natural Resources said in a statement. "The vehicles appears to be an older model (Ford) possibly red or dark color with cab lights and some type of cap or cargo rack that extends above the cab of the truck."
