Drone Captures Great White Shark Encounter Off Cape Cod: Video

WELLFLEET, MA — Drone footage shot off the coast of Cape Cod shows a rare encounter between two great white sharks. The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy shared the video over the weekend, saying researchers have seen white sharks go near each other but rarely ever interact. This is the second time this season an interaction has been captured on video.

The footage was shot off Marconi Beach in Wellfleet, which closed four times this past week — including Monday morning — due to shark sightings.
