Drunk Cape Cod Driver Hits Car Head-On: Police
Tyler Amato, of Yarmouth, was driving drunk when he struck another vehicle head-on, police said.
YARMOUTH, MA — A drunk Cape Cod man was arrested over the weekend on charges he drove head-on into vehicle in Yarmouth, according to police. Tyler Amato, 26, or Yarmouth, was arrested Saturday afternoon.
Police said Amato was driving on south Winslow Gray Road in West Yarmouth when he struck a vehicle headed in the opposition direction on a curve. None of the drivers suffered serious injuries, according to police. Both vehicles were "destroyed."
Amato charged with drunk driving, negligent driving and a marked lanes violation. He was held in custody pending an arraignment in Barnstable District Court.
