Drunk Man Walks Into Hotel, Steals Shirt Off Mannequin: Yarmouth Police

A Yarmouth man was arrested Friday after police said he walked into a motel and stole a shirt off a mannequin.

Mott Arnold, 23, of Yarmouth, was charged with larceny and taken into protective custody because he was so drunk, police said.

The incident happened Friday at about 10 p.m. at the Cape Point Hotel. Staff hit an alarm after Arnold walked into the lobby, stole a t-shirt off a mannequin, then fled. Police said they located him a short time later and described him as ”highly intoxicated.”

Arnold was held pending an arraignment Monday.
