Drunk, Unlicensed Driver Hit Barnstable Cop Car: Police
The driver and her hospital were sent to the hospital, authorities said.
BARNSTABLE, MA — An unlicensed, drunk driver crashed into a police car, injuring herself and her passenger early Saturday in Barnstable, officials said.
Gabriela Prodelik hit a Barnstable police cruiser just after 1 a.m. on Lincoln Road, authorities said. The unoccupied police car was parked on the street as officers investigated a silent 911 call in the area.
Prodelik and her 24-year-old passenger were brought to Cape Cod Hospital. Their injuries aren't considered life-threatening, police said.

Prodelik, 20, of Hyannis, was issued a citation at the hospital. She was charged with operating under the influence of intoxicating liquor, negligent driving, unlicensed driving and speeding.
She will be arraigned in Barnstable District Court.
