Elderly Woman Hit By Car On Cape Cod
The 77-year-old woman was hospitalized with serious injuries after she was hit in a Dunkin' Donuts parking lot.
YARMOUTH, MA – An elderly woman was hospitalized after she was hit by a car in South Yarmouth Thursday morning. The collision happened around 8:50 a.m. in the parking lot of Dunkin' Donuts on Forest Road, police said.
The 77-year-old South Yarmouth resident was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with "serious injuries to her lower extremities," according to police. The driver of the car, a 51-year-old South Yarmouth man, remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
The collision is under investigation.
