Come help Destination Imagination teams from Barnstable raise enough money to travel to the DI Global Finals in TN in May!
Two teams, a 5th grade team from BHMCS and a 6th grade team from BIS, earned the chance to travel to Globals after amazing performances at the State Tournament last weekend.
What is Destination Imagination? It is a creative problem solving program for kids that runs through the school year as teams work on their "solution" to a challenge they present at a Regional Tournament in the form of an 8-minute play. Their solution usually needs to incorporate many different elements, but the most important thing about DI is that the kids do it all by themselves. They design and build equipment, make props and scenery, create costumes, write their scripts - all without the help of any adults!
